This pic is our 1998 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. My first rehab project. Actually I've rebuilt and updated several houses and a motorcycles before the motorhome, but it goes with the theme. I love being able to make old things useful again. It's the difference between cousin Eddie's junker and a "classic RV". Repairing the damage time and use have inflicted. Replace a roof that was way overdue. Updating systems like a new tankless water heater. Mount modern smart TVs. Install the latest Android Auto audio system. Get that generator purring. Powered vents. Painted cabinets with new hardware. Get rid of those prissy valances around the windows. New toilet. New counter top. New sink fixtures. Floor and Wall coverings... etc.
My RV world experience to date tells me there is a LOT of room for rehabbing older rigs. Maybe you can't afford that new $350,000 Discovery with firefly and 3 slideouts synced to your bluetooth. But, what if you could make that $15,000 Bounder with low mileage that's always been kept in covered storage suit your family's needs for 10-20% of the cost? And be proud of how functional and good looking that old gal is? Or maybe an older Airstream or a Minnie-Winnie? If you could, wouldn't you rather have that first classic rig that caught your eye and made you want an RV in the first place, set up to your preferences to travel the country in?
When you can spend hundreds of thousands for a poorly built new RV with manufacturer defects to fix or a used RV and make it exactly what you want for a fraction of the price aren't you going to at least consider that alternative?
Good 2 Go can help you evaluate, procure, and remodel the used RV of your dreams. You'll know what you are getting into going in. You'll have a good estimate of what to expect to spend for repairs and updates. And you can count on knowledgeable support all along the way and out onto the open road.
